Tripura govt. mandates teaching experience for 13, 000 Non-teaching posts, creates havoc

While announcing the cabinet decision of filling up of 13, 000 posts the state education minister in the recent past has said, “Five years’ teaching experience is must for Academic Counsellor (1200), Student Counsellor (4300), School Library Assistant (1500) and Hostel Warden (300), three years’ of teaching experience is mandatory for School Assistant posts.”

However, reacting sharp to the unwise act of the government in Tripura a maximum section of unemployed youths including almost all the opposition political parties has question, “What is the need of teaching experiences for filling up the posts of non-teaching staffs?”

Relating this to the fact the youths today claimed, “What would happen to the aspirants who have a degree of library science if Teaching experience is mandatory for filling up of 1500 posts of School Library Assistant?”

Besides, the opposition reacting sharp to the government decision of filling up of 13, 000 posts under the state education department mandating teaching experiences of 5 and 3 years separately has claimed, “This is an ultimate fraud exercise acted by the government keeping in mind the ensuing 2018 poll.”

The opposition including the Pradesh Trinamool congress has recently claimed, “By announcing this decision the government has yet again deprived large section of unemployed youths of the state.”

However, it is worthy to mention here that the Left front government after announcing its cabinet decision of appointment in 13, 000 posts has said, “The Supreme Court in his verdict categorically ruled the teachers who will be jobless after December 31, will get chance to take part in the fresh appointment drive. With yesterday’s decision, the Left Front government has fulfilled its commitment to stand by the axed teachers.”
