In the 15th minute of the match Tripura scored the opening goal when from the advanced ball by Shibani Debbarma superbly guided to the goal by Dipali Halam by her left foot. 10 minutes later Bakul Kumari Debbarma scored the second goal of the match and thus they ended the first half with 2-0 advantage. In the second half also Tripura got some easy chances but failed to score them. Just before the end of the match Dipali Halam got injured on her nose as in the end Tripura won by 2-0.

Over a telephonic conversation after the match coach Sujit Ghosh said that the girls played well in the first half but lost their track in the second half. But this win will boost the confident level of the players which will guide them to do well in the upcoming matches. Tripura will play their second match on May 20 against UP and before this match coach will look forward to improve stamina of the players.
